Additional flywheel mass Schmitt Steam Wheel” suitable for the inner rotor flywheel mass / the rotor of MVT, PVL or Selettra inner rotor ignitions with MVT-identical flywheel mass. Not suitable for MVT integral ignitions! The assembly of a single Schmitt “steam wheel” flywheel mass or alternatively several weights – 3 pieces of 20g weights are supplied – enables the gradual increase of the rotating mass on the crankshaft. Additional weights can improve behavior when starting off and ensure smooth running when stationary. With an optimal setting, even an increase in torque is possible. Holes or dips in the speed range can be smoothed out with the “steam wheel” without having to forego the advantages of internal rotor ignition.”
