Throttle cable PTFE Type II – Chinese 4T scooters / GY6 50

Description

Complete throttle cable with PTFE lining is intended for various Chinese 50cc 4T scooters. This is the Type II version, where the throttle cable screws into the thread on the throttle grip housing.

The inside of the cable has a special PTFE sliding lining, which ensures smooth and easy movement of the inner cable and, due to its self-lubricating properties, does not require additional lubrication.

Important – PTFE cable

Do not lubricate the PTFE cable with oil, grease or other lubricants. The PTFE lining has self-lubricating properties, so additional lubrication is not required. Lubricants can cause the inner sliding material to swell and consequently damage the cable.

Note

There are several different throttle cable versions used on Chinese scooters. Before ordering, therefore check the model, chassis designation and cable connection at the throttle grip. This product is the Type II threaded version, where the cable screws into the threaded part of the throttle grip housing.
