Description
Replacement rear brake cable is intended for various Aprilia SR Motard and Piaggio Typhoon II 50–125cc scooter models, including both two-stroke (2T) and four-stroke (4T) versions.
The rear brake cable provides mechanical force transmission from the brake lever to the rear brake mechanism and is an important component of the scooter’s braking system.
It is suitable for replacing a damaged, worn or rusted original cable, which may cause difficult rear brake operation, sticking or uneven operation of the braking mechanism.

Note
Before ordering, we recommend checking OEM number 666930 and comparing the cable length, connections and mounting points with the original part.
Different brake cables may be used depending on the model year and version of Aprilia SR Motard and Piaggio Typhoon scooters, so the model and engine displacement alone are not always sufficient to confirm compatibility.
Important: After installation, the cable tension must be adjusted correctly and the operation of the rear brake checked. The brake lever must return normally to its original position after release, and the rear wheel must rotate freely when the brake is released.
When replacing the cable, we also recommend inspecting the brake shoes or drum brake linings, return springs and braking mechanism.
