Description

Lambda sensor (oxygen sensor) is a replacement electronic sensor intended for various Piaggio, Gilera and Aprilia scooters with engine displacements from 125 to 500cc.

The lambda sensor is installed in the exhaust system and measures the oxygen content in the exhaust gases. It sends the data to the engine electronic control unit (ECU), which uses this information to adjust the amount of injected fuel.

A properly functioning lambda sensor helps maintain the correct air-fuel ratio, more stable engine operation and control of fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.

A faulty lambda sensor can cause irregular engine operation, increased fuel consumption or illumination of the engine warning light.

Important: The lambda sensor is not universally compatible with all model years and versions of the listed scooters.

Before ordering, we recommend checking OEM number 639806 or 6411235, the shape of the electrical connector, the number of wires and the design of the original lambda sensor.

Different lambda sensors may be used on individual models depending on the model year, emission standard and engine version.

If the engine warning light is illuminated on the scooter, we recommend performing diagnostics before replacing the lambda sensor, as similar symptoms can also be caused by other faults in the fuel injection system or exhaust system.
