The structure, dimensions and the throttle cable mounts on both sides are based on the original. However, the throttle cable offered here has an inner PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sliding sleeve. The high self-lubricating properties of the PTFE material enable long-lasting and very easy sliding without the need for additional lubrication.
Never lubricate PTFE cables afterwards, as lubricants cause the sliding material to swell and have exactly the opposite effect.
