Description

High-performance HPI Racing ignition with internal rotor is intended for modified Gilera and Piaggio 125–180cc 2T engines. Due to the lightweight internal rotor, the system is designed for quick engine response and use in sport and Racing configurations.

HPI ignitions are known for good fitment and relatively easy installation and are suitable for use on the racetrack, road and off-road modifications. A CDI with one ignition curve is included as standard, and the system can be further upgraded.

Important

The standard version is a Racing ignition and the basic kit does not include a coil for powering the lights. If you want to use electrical consumers or lighting, an additional 10 W lighting coil is available.

Before installation, the ignition must be correctly adjusted according to the manufacturer’s instructions. On more heavily modified engines, correct ignition timing adjustment is particularly important for reliable engine operation.
