Description

The Malossi unrestricted CDI ignition unit is designed for Peugeot scooters with a carburetor that originally use a limited or reduced ignition electronics system. The stock CDI unit often limits the engine RPM, preventing the engine from reaching the range where it produces maximum power and torque after tuning modifications.

By replacing the original CDI unit with the Malossi racing CDI, the RPM limiter is removed and the engine can freely develop its full potential. The unit provides a static ignition timing and an extremely strong and stable spark even at very high RPM.

The Malossi CDI is based on capacitive discharge technology, which provides a very high and constant spark voltage while reducing electrical transitions within the circuit. The unit is designed as a direct replacement for the original CDI, making installation simple and without modifications.
