Description

Extended primary gears Top Racing 13/43 are intended for tuned Minarelli engines with a sufficiently powerful engine configuration. According to the manufacturer, they provide a 21% longer gear ratio than the original, allowing better use of engine power at higher speeds and helping to reduce excessively high engine rpm.

The primary gears are supplied factory-pressed and ready for installation, so they replace the original assembly without any additional pressing of the gears.

They are suitable for Minarelli engines with the original intermediate shaft with 14 teeth.

Important

For the use of longer gears, the engine must have sufficient power to take advantage of the longer gear ratio. These gears are not recommended for standard or 50cc configurations.

Longer gears do not increase engine power by themselves. Top speed and the engine’s ability to take advantage of the longer ratio depend on the complete engine configuration and correct drivetrain setup.

Note

Tuning gears generally have straight-cut teeth, which reduce friction but may cause more mechanical noise or a characteristic transmission whine during operation. This is normal with this type of design and does not indicate a fault.
