Description

Malossi reinforced gearbox housing for the rear hub, intended for Piaggio mopeds where durability and precision requirements are significantly higher than standard solutions. The housing is made of high-quality aluminum-silicon alloy using precise die-casting and additionally reinforced with ribs to withstand higher mechanical loads.

The surface is protected with a durable textured black coating, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. The construction enables reliable operation even on heavily modified or sport-used engines.

The housing is supplied complete with all necessary high-quality bearings, FKM oil seals, bolts and washers, allowing fast, precise and reliable installation without additional purchases. An integrated oil breather with internal labyrinth and external connection ensures optimal lubrication and gearbox ventilation.

The housing connection is executed with five mounting bolts and two centering bushings, while the M10 x 18 hub bolts ensure firm and secure fastening.

For sealing, the use of silicone sealant is recommended, which improves rigidity and reliability of the assembly compared to conventional gaskets.

Note: Use in pure pedal drive mode is not possible.
