This exhaust spacer is mounted between the exhaust port of the cylinder and the exhaust flange of the exhaust. This can be an advantage in case of mounting / space problems of the exhaust. In addition, the exhaust path becomes longer, which may give power benefits, but please note that these benefits can only be measured on a performance test stand and can only be noticeable on high-powered engines.
