Description

Sport air intake SIP for variator cover is intended for various maxi scooters with Piaggio 125–180cc 2T AC/LC engines.

The intake is installed in the area of the variator cover and improves the supply of fresh air into the CVT transmission compartment. Increased airflow helps with cooling the variator, drive belt and clutch, which is especially useful on sport-tuned engines and under higher loads.

Advantages

Due to the directed supply of fresh air, the intake can help reduce the temperature of the CVT transmission during extended sport riding or with more powerful tuning configurations. Lower temperatures are particularly beneficial for the drive belt and clutch, which are exposed to higher thermal loads on more powerful 2T Maxi engines.
