Variator Stage6 R/T Oversize Minarelli Vertical / Horizontal

The Stage6 R/T Oversize variator is a high-end racing component designed for Minarelli and China 2-stroke engines with a 13 mm crankshaft (e.g. Yamaha Aerox / BW’s). It is part of the Stage6 Oversize CVT system, specifically developed for powerful midrace and high-end setups. Due to the larger variator diameter, the transmission range is expanded, improving power transfer and potentially increasing the scooter’s top speed.

The variator is CNC machined from aluminum with highly precise ramp angles for the roller weights. The surface is additionally protected with a ceramic coating, which increases wear resistance and ensures optimal belt grip and long service life. The ramps are optimized for 6 rollers sized 19×15.5 mm, allowing very smooth shifting and improved acceleration at all speeds.

The central ramp section is additionally reinforced, and the sintered bushing ensures optimal lubrication and smooth operation. The variator is also equipped with a special removable R/T fan, allowing easier adjustments for racing setups, for example in drag racing.

The variator can also be used with standard rear pulleys, but for maximum performance it is recommended to use it together with the Stage6 R/T Oversize torque driver and oversize belt.
